Fall 2019: Human Genetics (Biol468/568)

This is an advanced course in human genetics focusing on principles of inheritance, structure and function of the human genome, genetic mapping of diseases, and patterns of human genetic diversity. We will examine both theoretical concepts as well as practical applications to a variety of fields. The emphasis of applications will be on the logic of the approach rather than on technical experimental details. Prerequisites: C or better in BIOL 212, or instructor approval.
